Norlands Receives $10,000 Matching Grant for Meeting House
The meeting house is getting a new roof, thanks to partial funding by a grant from the 1772 Foundation in cooperation with Maine Preservation. The project includes stripping the entire roof, installing new drip edge, applying ice and water shield and roof wrap, and re-laying new asphalt shingles. Donations towards the match can be made online by clicking the button above. Checks, made payable to "Washburn-Norlands", may be sent to 290 Norlands Road, Livermore, ME 04253.

and a $10,000 matching grant from the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), made possible through the sponsorship of Mary Dillingham-Burnt Meadow Chapter, based in Lewiston, Maine.
